Flatlandin'
Mon, 10/06/2008 - 6:52pm — Chris McMahon
The Nor-Cal Flat scene is really blowing up. We have about 25+ dedicated flat riders ranging from the Valley/Sac, all the way down to Santa Cruz. We held a little sesh at the Branham High tennis courts in San Jose (we actually didn't get kicked out!) on Sunday Sept. 28th. Here's some photographic evidence!
As always, we're always welcoming riders interested in getting into the balancing act. Hit me up at dion@twowheellife.com if you're down for zero-offset set-ups on 17lb. bikes with four pegs. - Dion Dangzalan

Thanks for posting this, Chris. I'm on my honeymoon right now but there's always time for a little sj-bmx!
Congrats Dion! Sorry haven't made time to check out the scene. Email me when you get back!
I miss flatland, used to be a handful of dudes around. Shea Nyquist used to flatland in front of his house and started to get really good. Gabe Weed was the last guy I knew riding flat. Post the next "FLAT" get together would love to check out some death trucks, stickbitch, kurt cobain cruiser. Congrats on the knot, tied one myself recently. Don't agree with SJ on the honeymoon. Sup Joe. Peace
Thanks Joe!
Haha Squirell, I got myself a fancy smanchy iPhone. Always connected, bro.
No problem Dion!!Sup Squirrel!!!! how is married life treating you?
Doing well guys. Just taking care of business and getting ready to go spend some time in Central Mexico away from the bullshit here, the man, and the sweat shops we frequent everyday called jobs. Have not ridden much in the last 2 months but I took some runs last night in Svale and that whole park feels so small and slow compared to the great chunk of concrete residing in East San Jose. Hope to catch a session out there before the rain comes which I welcome with open arms. Actually it is going to be raining in Mexico the whole time, but it will be like 80+ degrees while we set new records consuming mass amounts of Mexico's finest foods. Talk to you soon.
Peace,
Squirrel
